On return the cold riders were ready for more hot food and drinks. Although traditionally made by Ray Scott, who has escaped to warmer climes, VVCMCC's famous Gluhwein was available this year prepared by John S "the Master Maker". This was sampled by many participants and pronounced "wunderbar" - so John you now have a life-time position! As always, a spread of delicious home-made cakes and slices were laid out (donated by several VVCMCC lady members).
An interesting range of motorcycles were parked in the Sands carpark for all to admire; from a veteran through the ages to moderns and even a newly completed 'electric' postie bike that was quite an attraction. David, the owner, gave me the opportunity to ride a lap of the carpark; thank you David.
Thank You to all the VVCMCC organisers and the many volunteers - the Gluhwein Run would not happen without you. Once again a successful Gluhwein Run event.
